I don&#039;t know that I prefer either of them.  Things are very busy in the middle ground without  lot of separation.  That&#039;s also the part of the image with the most light/dark contrast.  If I had to pick, it&#039;s the b&amp;w version...</description>

I can definitely appreciate over-working a subject and look forward to what you found on your new scout.  That may be the best part of landscape photography.

I find myself moving through the black and white easier than the color version.  Its easier to look at.  Which do you prefer?
